What issues should be paid attention to when operating a sprayer?

The spraying machine is a special coating equipment that uses spraying technology. The principle is to use airflow to drive the reversing device to reverse, so that the piston of the pneumatic motor can make stable and continuous reciprocating motion, thereby pressurizing the inhaled paint, and transporting the paint to the spray gun of the spraying machine through a high-pressure hose. The spray gun atomizes the paint and sprays it on the surface of the object to be coated to form a film layer. The following issues need to be paid attention to when operating a spraying machine.

1. Gun distance

The distance between the spray gun mouth and the object to be sprayed is called the gun distance. The gun distance is most suitable for 30 to 40 cm. If the gun distance is too small, the spraying pressure is too large, and the recoil force is also large, resulting in uneven spraying, causing the object to be sprayed with too much material locally and the coating film to be too thick. If the gun distance is too large, the spraying pressure loss is large, and the paint is easy to lose, so that the object to be coated is sprayed too little locally and the thickness requirement cannot be met.

2. Spray fan angle

The spray fan should be kept perpendicular to the surface of the object being coated. When manually operating the spray gun, pay attention to the fact that the spray width should not be too large each time, otherwise the fan angle will change significantly due to inconvenient operation, resulting in uneven coating.

3. Spray gun running direction and speed

The spray gun running direction should always be parallel to the sprayed surface ∥ and perpendicular to the fan angle ⊥ to ensure uniform spraying. The spray gun running speed should be stable, with the best speed of 30-40cm/s. Unstable running speed or running speed that is too fast or too slow will lead to uneven spraying, accumulation and too thin coating.
